Globals provides eBay sellers the ability to bulk edit and revise live listings.
Find & Replace allows eBay sellers to "find" specific words/text within their item descriptions and "replace" with new updated text/information.

Today, I want to tell you about inkFrog's really awesome and exciting revision tools. We have two ways to make bulk changes to your live eBay listings (yes, really!) as well as the items you have saved inside of inkFrog. One way is "find and replace" just like in your word processor, and the other is what we call "globals." Let's learn more! - inkFrog
Let's say that I just realized that I have a typo in every listing I put on eBay. I said that I ship "with 1 business days" instead of "within 1 business day." I can have inkFrog go into my live listings, look for the wrong text, and replace it with the right text.
Remember that this only works when that is EXACTLY what the text looks like. It one word is bold, it won't find that. This is looking at the raw HTML code, so if your text has HTML on it (like bold, colours, fonts), you have to do the find just the way the HTML looks. inkFrog.com, an eBay Certified Provider Saving online sellers time, money, and sanity.
Think about how you can use a feature like that when you or eBay make a change. Need to remove your sentence about taking checks and money orders? Now, you can easily replace these with just a few clicks.
Remember that inkFrog's revision tool can only replace items on eBay that qualify for revision. If you can't go into eBay and revise it, we can't change it either. So auctions with bids, items with less than 12 hours left, and multiple quantity listings that have a past sale can't be revised. But there is good news! Since we can find and replace HTML, you can find and replace images. Let's say that you have been shipping with UPS but will be changing to Fed Ex. You might want to replace a UPS logo in your listings with a Fed Ex logo.
You just use our Find and Replace tool to go out to your live listings (and the items you have saved in your inkFrog "library," where saved items live), and you just have it look for the HTML for the UPS image, and change it to the HTML for the Fed Ex image. You need to know a little HTML, so get help from someone who knows HTML if you don't know a little bit. inkFrog.com, an eBay Certified Provider Saving online sellers time, money, and sanity.
Globals are what we call saved pieces of information or preferences. For example, how you tell eBay you accept payments, which they then place for you around the listing, can be a "global." Maybe you need to change all of your listings to say you only take PayPal. You can set up a global like this:
And maybe you also wrote in your policies (where eBay writes the details of how you accept payments) that you take PayPal, checks, and money orders, but now you want that to say PayPal only. You can set that up as a global also.
You can then go into your live eBay listings or saved listings on inkFrog, and "apply the global." This replaces whatever you have with whatever you put into the global.
You can change shipping methods and info, return policy, sales tax, handling time, and we're working on new ones over the summer. We hope to be able to let you swap out any template in inkFrog for any other template in inkFrog without having to take your listings down.

Hi, Ginger. In order to use our features, you would need to subscribe to inkFrog. We do have a free trial period, so people who want to try out our image hosting, eBay features, or the revision capabilities can certainly take them for a spin!
